Capestorm fundraising evening

The focus of the evening was an intrepid presentation by ultra-marathon runner David Grier, who spoke about the experiences he and his colleague had when they became the first people in the world to run the length of the Great Wall of China. The evening was organised by Fish Hoek resident, Amanda Power, a cancer survivor and supporter of St Luke's Hospice. Amanda, along with other survivors and their loved ones, completed a six day adventure along the Ming Section of the wall for the Wall of China Challenge 2009 in March. A portion of the proceeds of the evening were presented to St Luke's Hospice.
