STAFF NOTICE – 2020/02/003


We require the services of an Outreach Services Administrator who will be responsible for organising and coordinating project and admin duties within the Outreach Services Department. The successful candidate will be required to recruit and manage the volunteer aspect of the organisation and provide administrative support to the HOD: Outreach Services.


  • Matric plus a post matric qualification (preferably office management and / or project management)
  • 3 or more years proven experience in managing similar functions
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Knowledge and experience of process flow and document management


  • Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures (leave, volunteer, ordering systems e)
  • Provide Projects administration support within the Outreach Services department
  • Coordinate all social work referrals each week
  • Do ordering for Outreach department and Gugulethu & Khayelitsha day hospices
  • Facilitate donations of clothing and food items
  • Take and distribute minutes for the Outreach Team meetings, and Chairman and Treasurers meeting
  • Recruit, Support facilitate and administrate volunteer related tasks
  • Perform other duties, as and when so requested, in support of team goals
